Our root beer extracts come with complete instructions for making homemade root beer. There are several ways to make root beer. One is the bottling method which requires a bottling bucket, bottles, capper, and bottle filler. If you want to eliminate the bottle capper, use 2-liter plastic bottles instead of glass bottles.
We have three Root Beer flavors.
Root Beer #1 is our original flavor, and it makes a strong, spicy "microbrew" style root beer.
Root Beer #2 tastes like old Hires or Dad's style root beer.
Root Beer #3 is a gourmet root beer similar to Thomas Kemper and Henry Weinhard's.
Root Beer #1 and #3 each makes 5 gallons
